- What kind of machine do I need for free motion quilting?I hear this question a lot. The good news is you can free motion quilt on your domestic sewing machine. You do not need an expensive longarm or sit-down machine. The stitching path to learning free motion designs is the same, no matter which type of machine you're using.
- Do I need any special thread or other tools to be able to join Evolve?Nope. You can use what you already have in your sewing room. No special thread or other supplies needed.
- How much do I need to practice free motion quilting.There is no set amount of time. If you can practice daily for 10 minutes...great. If you can only practice a few times a week, that's okay too. Whenever you have spare time to get into your sewing room and practice on a quilt sandwich, just do what you can. You don't want learning to be a chore - it should be fun!
- What if I can't join the live Block Parties?All Block Parties are recorded. You can watch the replay when it's convenient for you. Questions can be sent to me ahead of time also if you're not able to make it live.
- Can I cancel my membership at any time?Yes. There are no contracts. If you feel your journey has come to an end, you cancel anytime. And...we'll be right here if you later decide to come back.
